Involvement in Professional Organizations and the Community
A member of the American Institute of CPAs, the California Society of CPAs, and the Covina Chamber of Commerce, Lina Ledford is actively involved in the Covina Rotary Club, having served as President, Treasurer, and member of the board of directors. She serves the community through various volunteer activities sponsored by the Rotary Club. Lina also supports local schools and the community college by serving in various advisory capacities. |

Education
Lina Ledford received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from the University of the Philippines in 1968. She earned her Certified Public Accounting certificate in the Philippines before moving to California; and in 1980, she received her CPA certificate from the State of California. In 1999, she completed education courses in Uniform Securities Act and Investment Advisor Regulations, leading to her registration as a General Securities Registered Representative through 2003.

Experience
Lina Ledford started her career as an accountant for an import-export/management firm in Manila, Philippines where she was later promoted to the position of controller. In 1972, Mrs. Ledford moved to California and worked as the controller for a real estate management firm in Sherman Oaks until 1977 when she joined the Los Angeles office of a national public accounting firm as a staff accountant/auditor. In 1979, she joined a locally based firm and later became partner, responsible for the firm’s business services department providing audit, accounting, tax and management consulting services to emerging growth businesses and to a wide range of for-profit and non-profit entities, including individual professionals and business owners. |
